We’re still glowing from the magic of our Shimmering Moon Gala—a night that truly lived up to its name. On a breathtaking full moon evening, 200 guests gathered to shine their light for a rare cause close to our hearts: curing SPG56
The energy in the room was electric. From the very first note to the final speech, the evening pulsed with music, emotion, and community spirit.
Our MC and keynote speaker, Karni Liddell, held the room with grace, grit, and humor—bringing everyone into her world with honesty about what it’s like to live with disability and a rare condition- a world not dissimilar to Tallulah’s. Her words sparked a ripple of head nods and shared understanding that carried through the night.
Then came a dose of scientific wonder. Professor Ernst Wolvetang took us on a journey through the groundbreaking gene therapy work we’re helping make possible for kids like Tallulah Moon. His insights gave us all a glimpse into the real magic of science—and why this mission matters so much.
Of course, no gala is complete without music, and we were blessed with a stellar lineup: SYREN, Ampersand Band, and Andy V kept the vibes soaring and the dance floor moving.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, auction donors, and very generous sponsors, we raised a phenomenal $85,000. That money has gone directly toward helping stop SPG56 in its tracks—pushing our one-of-a-kind gene therapy closer to clinical trial.
